"The ASU ACLU screened BUSTED in the Student Union, and over 200 people came to see it. We actually had to turn people away from the event, because we maxed out capacity and, as it was, over 50 people were left standing for the duration of the film. Regardless, the crowd LOVED it." Ian Mance, Appalachian State University ACLU chapter president Advertisement

torture
I totally disagree with you michael keeler, their far much better ways the cop could have handled this no matter how wrong the dude was or how emotional the dude got,the dude walking away did not mean he wanted to use any force.Indeed it is such cops who dont understand why the law has vested do much power in their hands, that they choose to use it as they wish.Police represent law and order and this video just shows the opposite of that.Their so many options the cop had.He would have called for back up if he felt outnumbered but he decided to go full length and user the taser. Was that the first and last option that he should have taken?the cop had far much options explain to the dude why it is important for him to sign the document and what it means but the cop used assumption that the dude had refused to sign. How is one suppose to comply to what you dont understand, you can corporate but dont just comply/agree to what cops say cause they are out there to fool those who dont understand their rights.
