Because the police DO follow you around with cameras all day. More so in Britain and in Ireland.
More and more of these go up everyday. America is now adopting Britain's idea of fixing microphones and speakers to these cameras so they may yell demands at you.

Taking into account that growing number of incidents being reported the world over - and every encounter I've had with authorities always being negative since they're of such retched spirit - I'd suggest documenting their every deed. They're paranoied enough to do it to us!

And, also, the fact that those lunatics coming back from Iraq are now training for the police force. Imagine one of them getting a flash-back to Iraq when they're working on a stop-and-search roadblock in the homeland, eh?
