I like the idea of video taping police. I like it so much that I plan to do it with all professionals that I encounter in everyday life.

I'm gonna videotape my mechanic while he fixes my car to make sure he isn't saying something like "can you believe that that idiot fell for the old 'you need a new timing belt $1000' line?" I also wanna make sure he isn't sipping stale coffee and looking at porn while he charges me $50 and hour for labor. That way IF something bad, immoral, illegal, etc. happens I will have the evidnece I need.

Then I will also videotape my grandma's surgeon while she gets heart surgery. That way IF something bad, illegal, immoral, or malpractice-wise happens I will have all the evidence I need.

Same goes for my kids teachers in school. I wanna see if they just pop in a video and take a nap for the class period or if they waste tax payer money. That way IF something bad, illegal, immoral happens I'll have my evidence.

Oh, and my cousin Vinnie's defense attorney- I'll videotape him while he works too. That way if he tells Vinnie to lie on the stand we can sue him get Vinnie off the hook. You never know IF something bad or illegal might happen- better have the video running.

I hope you get my point. The point is that this SITE is about peoples RIGHTS. The lawyer, teacher, mechanic, and doctor would scream rights violations if you tried to video tape them. They all hold some type of power that can be abused- just like cops. We aren't supposed to ASSUME people are guilty of crimes BEFORE thier guilt is proven. What if the cops followed you around (in public) and filmed you? You would go nuts! Keep the video cameras out of the cops faces and report any abuses or rights violations through the proper channels.
